Hello friends! Thanks so much for stopping by! Welcome to the next installment of Weekend Crochet – Tips & Tricks! Today I will share one of my favorite methods that I have learned as a Crochet Artist. Magic Circle Crochet!
I will be sharing a both a photo tutorial with written description and a video tutorial for each of the Magic Circles. Included are Single Crochet Magic Circle, Half Double Crochet Magic Circle, and Double Crochet Magic Circle methods.
The Magic Circle Foundations are a great technique to give a good foundation for any pattern worked in the round! I love to use a Magic Circle when making hats, dish cloths, and amigurumi patterns to name a few! I highly recommend the Magic Circle method for the first round of the following Free Crochet Patterns so you can get lots of practice with this technique!!
May the Fouth be with You! Happy Star Wars Day, y’all! I wrote this fun little Light Sword Freeze Pop Holder pattern last year in 2017, just before I started this website and blog. It is posted on my old blogger blog, and I will share a link to the Free Pattern below! Other –> Free Crochet Patterns <– can be found here, on my current site Hope you enjoy this quick and easy pattern as much as I enjoyed designing it!
Why post just a link? The popsicle holder comes a bit too close to copyright. I don’t have any ads or other associated ways to make money from the old blog, so there it will stay. Free free to use the pattern and make all the Light Sword Popsicle Holders you want. Be aware that Disney owns the rights to all Star Wars related items. I made these for my kids and they love them! Hope yours will too! 🙂
My Rainbow Crown Crochet Pattern is ready and I am so excited to share this pattern with you! This Crochet Crown Pattern is ON SALE for just 3 days, MAY 2nd – 4th! Read on to get the details!
The Rainbow Crown is by far my most popular Crochet Crown Design! Similar to my Flora Crown, the Rainbow Crown idea came about because of my love of color, but also because I wanted to expand upon my Basic Crochet Crown. I have had numerous requests over the years for the pattern, and it’s finally ready for you! For those who don’t crochet, but still want in on the Rainbow Crown fun, I also sell my finished Rainbow Crowns on Etsy.
The Rainbow Crown has a lot of options for striping patterns, colors, and more so you can customize it to suit anyone! Beyond the Classic Rainbow Crown of 7 colors, you can create yours in an ombré pattern, create a color block crown with 4-5 colors, a striped crown with 2 colors or create a striping pattern of your own! I have also included a detailed photo tutorial, and link to video tutorial for weaving in all those ends and hiding them really well! I hope you love the Rainbow Crown Crochet Pattern as much as I do! 🙂
The Rainbow Crown Pattern is an Easy Crochet Pattern, that can be completed by an advanced beginner and beyond. The color changes take place at the beginning of each round, so even an advanced beginning can make this with my thorough instructions! The Rainbow Crown Pattern, comes in 8 sizes, and includes photo tutorials to help you add the Crown peaks, and detailed photos and written instructions for creating the foundation half double crochet, as well as a link to my Fhdc video tutorial! You can learn to create a foundation hdc tutorial and many more stitches in my Learn to Crochet section. I have many tutorials here on my blog to learn any Crochet Techniques that are new to you, as well as video tutorials on my YouTube Channel! I am also more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the Rainbow Crown pattern, stitches, or techniques! 🙂
