The Cast Iron Handle Cover pattern was inspired by my sadly burned and endlessly dirty handle covers. We only cook with Cast Iron Pans in our house, but I found that the covers I was given were not a good fit and were NOT easy to clean! Crochet Queen to the rescue y’all!
Hey y’all! This summer is really flying by! Before it winds to a close, I am so excited to bring you another fun and functional (my fave combination 😉 ) Free Crochet Pattern! I know you’re going to love making the DC Dice Bag and Tray Crochet Pattern as much as I enjoyed designing it!
The DC Dice Bag pattern was inspired by a problem I found when playing board and dice games. We love games in our house, but I find we are forever either chasing dice across the floor, or they knock over pieces when rolled on the board. Add to this that my 11 year old son has a rather extensive collection of dice for D&D play.
I scream, You scream, We all scream for Ice Cream! Excuse me while I reminisce my childhood a bit, but that chant brings me back… Anyone else? This little walk down memory lane is all in celebration of my sweetIce Cream Sundae and Cone Amigurumi Pattern! ON SALE this weekend for 3 days ONLY, JULY 13 – 15! Read on to get all the details!
I originally released this pattern as an Ice Cream Cone Rattle and mini Ice Cream Keychain, back in April of 2017. I wanted to do something special with the pattern, so I knew I had found it when I learned about National Ice Cream Month – July – and Day, which is the third Sunday in July!

Happy National Donut Day! In honor of this day, I am so excited to bring you another fun and functional Free Crochet Pattern! I hope you enjoy making some Delicious Donut Dish Cloth as much as I enjoyed designing the pattern!
I created the Donut Dish Cloth Pattern in honor of National Donut Day, which is the first Friday of June. The day honors both the lovely and delicious fried doughnut and those who served in the US Military in the first World War. The short version is that donuts and coffee, and other baked good were distributed to soldiers at canteens at the war front to help improve the soldiers’ morale. These were handed out by Salvation Army volunteers who became known as Doughnut Dollies, and the resultant Chicago Salvation Army fundraiser led to the creation of National Donut Day. You can read more about the history of this day on wikipediea <– right here! So now you know! 🙂

Hello friends! Thanks so much for stopping by! Welcome to the next installment of Weekend Crochet – Tips & Tricks! Today I will share one of my favorite methods that I have learned as a Crochet Artist. Magic Circle Crochet!
I will be sharing a both a photo tutorial with written description and a video tutorial for each of the Magic Circles. Included are Single Crochet Magic Circle, Half Double Crochet Magic Circle, and Double Crochet Magic Circle methods.
The Magic Circle Foundations are a great technique to give a good foundation for any pattern worked in the round! I love to use a Magic Circle when making hats, dish cloths, and amigurumi patterns to name a few! I highly recommend the Magic Circle method for the first round of the following Free Crochet Patterns so you can get lots of practice with this technique!!
May the Fouth be with You! Happy Star Wars Day, y’all! I wrote this fun little Light Sword Freeze Pop Holder pattern last year in 2017, just before I started this website and blog. It is posted on my old blogger blog, and I will share a link to the Free Pattern below! Other –> Free Crochet Patterns <– can be found here, on my current site Hope you enjoy this quick and easy pattern as much as I enjoyed designing it!
Why post just a link? The popsicle holder comes a bit too close to copyright. I don’t have any ads or other associated ways to make money from the old blog, so there it will stay. Free free to use the pattern and make all the Light Sword Popsicle Holders you want. Be aware that Disney owns the rights to all Star Wars related items. I made these for my kids and they love them! Hope yours will too! 🙂
