Hometown Holiday Baskets
New Crochet Pattern!
Do you enjoy decorating your home for the Holidays!?! Then I have the perfect new Crochet Home Decor Pattern for you! The Hometown Holiday Baskets were designed to bring that special holiday cheer straight from your crochet hook to your home! These baskets are a really fun project with simple color changes so that even a first timer can learn Tapestry Crochet with success! I hope y’all enjoy the pattern as much as I do too! 🙂
Holiday Basket Features
I don’t know about y’all, but decorating for Christmas can get to be kind of like a sport around here! My kids laid claim to the task of decorating the tree years ago, so I have to satisfy my need to decorate in other areas! 😉 Why holiday baskets? Well, I obsessively collect baskets and other pretty storage options and I really wanted some festive holiday baskets that I could keep up in my home all winter long! So these winter themed, festive baskets were born!
The Hometown Holiday Baskets work up beautifully with Lion Brand Hometown USA Super Bulky Yarn! You will need about 180 yards of the main color, and about 50 yards of the accent color! These baskets are a fairly quick project, and will only take you a few hours to make! These baskets would make a really fun Christmas gift idea or use them to decorate your home for the Holidays! 🌲❄️

Beautiful Basket with 2 designs!
The Hometown Holiday Baskets Crochet Pattern has instructions to make a Pine Tree Basket and a Snowflake Basket! I designed these baskets so that they are perfectly festive for decorating for all your favorite winter Holidays (mine are going up in November!!), but not tied to any specific one so they can be used all winter long! I love an item that I can get more use out of! How about you? ❄️
These baskets make the perfect gift for someone special in your life like that hardworking Teacher your kiddo adores, your awesome neighber the shovels your driveway just because or your favorite Aunt! Don’t forget to make a set for yourself too!
The Hometown Holiday Baskets are sure to be a hit at your Holiday markets and craft shows! These baskets are gorgeous and functional, and they work up in a couple hours so you can price them to sell! They make a fabulous Chrismas or Hanukkah gift too, so they are perfect to sell in your Etsy shop!! You can even make them in a variety of festive colors to appeal to different home decor styles!!

Make your Hometown Holiday Baskets!
This basket pattern is perfect for intermediate level crocheters and the confident advanced beginner who likes a challenge. The stitches are simple, however the color changes are made using tapestry crochet which is an intermediate technique. This is such a fun project and you get a beautiful and useful way to brighten up your home all winter long! Perfect for gifts, craft markets, and more! All you need to get started is 3 skeins of your main color, and 1 skein of your accent color and a P/10.0 mm hook! I used Lion Brand Hometown Super Bulky Yarn to create my samples. Cincinnati Red and New York White for the Snowflake Basket. I used Aspen Tweed and Riverdale Tweed to create the Pine Tree Basket. These yarns are gorgeous and so much fun to work with!! 😍
