Padded Book Sleeve Features
Even though I do a lot of my reading these days on my Kindle, or listening on Audible while I crochet, there is still nothing like holding an actual book in your hand! I confess I am sometimes a bit rough on mine, especially when I toss them in my bag, oops!! So after designing my Sweet Stripes Sunglasses Case, I was inspired by my to create the Sweet Stripes Book Sleeve to keep my book babies safe too! So now my books and my glasses can ride together in style, and it’s so cute that they are twinsies too! 😉
Of course I was even more excited to share this ipad cover crochet pattern with YOU! What I think is great about this awesome DIY Kindle Sleeve Pattern is that it’s double layered – so you know that your fave dogeared novel or your expensive iPad Pro will be a whole lot safer in your Sweet Stripes Padded Book Sleeve! You can make just the right size case to fit with 3 different sizes! Small (6″ wide x 8″ tall) is perfect for small/mass market paperbacks, datebooks, or an iPad Mini. Medium (7.5″ wide x 9.5″ tall) is perfect for an ereader like the Kindle Oasis, larger paperbacks or a medium tablet with a case like the Kindle Fire HD8. Large (8.5″ wide x 11″ tall) is perfect for many hardback books, or larger tablets with a case, like my iPad Air 3. You can also use your book sleeve to hold a small notebook and pen, sketchbook and pencils, planner, bullet journal, or anything your heart desires!
