Hopscotch Coffee Cozy

Crochet Cup Cozy Pattern

Who doesn’t love a quick crochet project? I can’t deny that the instant gratification of a small project makes me feel accomplished! The Hopscotch Coffee Cozy Crochet Pattern uses simple repeats, so you’ll have a whole pile of these made in no time! Need a last minute gift or making a bunch for your next market – this is a great crochet pattern for chilling with your yarn as you enjoy an audiobook or the latest movie on Amazon Prime! The pattern only uses a couple more advanced stitches, but rest assured I’ve created stitch tutorials so you will easily learn how to crochet this cup cozy pattern! Easy peasy!

I designed this pattern with versatility in mind! I realized that coffee (or tea) cups are not one size fits all, so we’ve got all the variety you need to create a coffee cup cozy for (almost) any cup you’ve got! Including your reusable coffee cup!  So I had to go ahead and design 3 versions of this pattern so that no matter what the size or style of your drink, you can make the perfect Hopscotch Coffee Cup Cozy! The pattern includes the Small Coffee Sleeve for 12-16 oz to-go cups or skinny travel mugs, the Large Coffee Cozy for 20-24 oz to-go cups or most travel mugs, and we can’t forget the classic Coffee Mug Cozy for most 11-15 oz handled mugs – made extra easy with no button needed!

Coffee Cozies Make Great Gifts!

This is the perfect Netflix and chill type of project (on repeat because they’re so quick to work up!) so whether you watch your fave movie on Netflix or Prime Video, or pick a new, bingeable audiobook, while working on your crochet coffee cozies! I am currently re-watching the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which is such a riot, and I am just about finished listening to Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo on Audible. Next up on Audible will be either Duma Key or Holly, both of which are by Stephen King, I just haven’t quite decided yet. How about you? What’s your current read and watch?

Not everyone drinks coffee, but these coffee mug cozies can easily be used for tea or on a cold drink tumbler too for those who love their iced coffee, iced tea, or any other beverages! Pair one with a gorgeous ceramic cup to make great gift ideas! You can easily customize different colors for the perfect combination for your gift recipient! This free pattern makes an amazing gift, when paired with a gift certificate to their favorite coffee shop or a fancy tin of tea!

Need some help with the stitches? I provide photo tutorials within the pattern to help you with the included stitch patterns, techniques and more! I am always happy to help you with any questions you may have! Don’t crochet yet? I’d love to help you Learn to Crochet with my fun Crochet Tutorials!
