Crochet Cup Cozy Features

I wanted to create this coffee cup cozy crochet pattern because coffee is life! But seriously, mug cozies are so quick and fun to make they are perfect for gifts. Ever since covid hit I feel like gift giving has become such an important way to express our love and show we care when being together is not an option. So this just felt like a really nice way to be able to share something special, and with the bonus pocket the heart forms you can include an additional gift to make your handmade gift even more impactful!

Not everyone drinks coffee of course, but a coffee mug sleeve can easily be used for tea or on a cold tumbler for any type of drink you like! You can also customize the colors for the perfect combination for your gift recipient! This pattern utilizes fairly simple stitches, including a foundation single crochet. I have included my video tutorial if you need a little help with this stitch! It’s one of my favorite techniques because it allows your stitches to have more stretch than a standard chain.

Love Pinterest? Me too! Don’t forget to pin the pattern for later!! You can save from my pin boards here and follow me on Pinterest too for more gorgeous crochet patterns and helpful crochet tutorials, and lots more!

Quick and Easy Coffee Cozy Pattern!

I love a quick crochet project, how about you? The cozy sleeve itself is just simple repeats that you will have finished in no time! It’s practically the perfect project for working on while you enjoy your favorite series or the latest movie on Amazon Prime! You will have to pay a little more attention to the stitches for the heart, but they are all basic stitches a beginner can easily complete! I even have a video tutorial for the magic circle for those who need it!

I love that this crochet coffee mug cozy works well for so many different occasions! Besides the obvious Valentine’s Day, this cozy would make a great gift for Mother’s or Father’s Day, an Anniversary, Birthday, or even a fun Wedding Gift basket! I’m picturing his and hers stainless coffee mugs, a Starbucks gift card or two, matching mug cozies of course, a bag of beans and a nice french press! That’s a wedding gift I would have LOVED! This would be an awesome housewarming gift or a gift for any occasion!! You would win MY heart with that gift! 😉

A handmade coffee mug sleeve would also make a fabulous gift for your amazing neighbor that shovels your walk, your hard working nurse at your local clinic, or that amazing teacher who is somehow still killing it teaching your kids virtually even though none of us is sure how they are doing it so well this year! Kudos to all the teachers and health care workers! Y’all are amazing and we appreciate you soooo much!!

These cozies are sure to be a hit at your craft fairs once they open back up! You can make one in around a half an hour depending on your speed. Not only are they cute and perfect for several occasions, since they don’t take a lot of time to create, you can price them to really sell! Don’t forget to add them to your Etsy shop in the meantime! You can make them in a variety of fun colors to appeal to lots of aesthetic styles!!

Don’t crochet? Send me a message through my Contact Page or through my Etsy shop here! I would love to create a Cup of Love Crochet Coffee Cozy just for you! Need some help with the stitches? I provide photo and video tutorials within the pattern to help you with the included techniques and more! I am always happy to help you with any questions you may have! Don’t crochet yet?
