National Sticker Day, observed on January 13th in the USA, is a fun celebration dedicated to the colorful world of stickers. It’s a day to bring focus to the ever popular sticker and appreciate the diversity and creativity that stickers bring to various aspects of our lives.
Why Do We Celebrate Stickers?
Since the invention of self-adhesive glues and removable backing, stickers have become almost essential in most people’s lives. They’re more than just decorative; they are symbols of self-expression, creativity, and personal style. You can use them for crafting, organizing, decorating, or sharing messages, kids and adults love stickers!
From turning everyday items into works of art to transforming dull spaces into vibrant mirrors of our personality, stickers are the best! The History of National Sticker Day
National Sticker Day traces its origins to R. Stanton Avery, the man behind the first commercially viable self-adhesive label in 1935. Over the years, stickers evolved from functional labels to expressive art, leading to the establishment of this celebratory day. We celebrate stickers on the 13th January each year, the day that Mr Avery was born.

There’s of course many ways to celebrate any event! I don’t know what your preferences are? But for me, I’ve decided to offer my entire sticker and car decal collection to you, on sale!
