Sweet Stripes Friendship Square
New FREE Crochet Pattern!
One of my favorite things about the crochet community is well… the community! I love getting to work together with my fellow fiber artists to create something even more amazing, together! How about you? The perfect example is the amazing collaborative Friendship Blanket Crochet Along organized my the talented (and organized 😉) Helen of Sunflower Cottage Crochet!
“Friendship … is born at the moment when one man says to another “What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . .” ― C.S. Lewis. That is exactly how I have felt in virtually “meeting” so many of my fellow crochet artists and designers! And so I was thrilled to participate in this amazing even that brought 28 crochet designers from across the globe together to create the Friendship Blanket! Read on to learn more and find my Free Pattern! I hope y’all love this pattern as much as I do!
Quick and Easy Blanket Square Pattern!
I love a quick crochet project, how about you? The Sweet Stripes Friendship Square consists of simple repeats that you will have finished in no time! It’s practically the perfect project for working on while you enjoy your favorite series or the latest movie on Amazon Prime! The pattern uses basic stitches a beginner can easily complete! I even have a video tutorial for creating this pattern for those who prefer video format!
Beyond the Blanket, you could easily use your Sweet Stripes Friendship Square as a luxurious spa cloth or dish cloth, especially if you use cotton yarn! Measuring 9″ x 9″ it’s larger than your average cloth, but that just makes it all the more luxurious!
You can make a whole set in different colors! A set of cloths paired with some bath salts and fancy soaps would be an awesome Mother’s Day Gift, housewarming gift or a gift for any occasion!! You would win MY heart with that gift! 😉
Need some help with the stitches? I provide photo and video tutorials within the pattern to help you with the included techniques and more! I am always happy to help you with any questions you may have! Don’t crochet yet? I’d love to help you Learn to Crochet with my fun Crochet Tutorials!
