Granny Square Crochet Patterns
Did you know that it’s (unofficially) International Granny Square Day on August 15th? It is on Instagram anyway, where this tradition began 4 years ago! Do you celebrate?
We crafters certainly have some influence now don’t we? With the arise of social media!
I for one am very happy to observe this day, because I love me a granny square! The repetition of crocheting blanket squares, promotes mindfulness, which has been proven to lower our stress levels and relax us! Crocheting is great for self-care. Truly! And I make sure I tell my husband that too, if he ever suggests I might want to be doing something else… fool 😆 Haha!
