Gaia Pocket Shawl
New Crochet Pattern!
Do you like to be cozy!?! Then I have the perfect Fall and Winter Crochet Pattern for you! The Gaia Pocket Shawl is designed to wrap you in coziness and it does exactly that! It is really fun project with beautiful stitch repeats that are varied enough to be interesting, while still being easy to remember! I hope y’all enjoy the pattern as much as I do too! 🙂
Pocket Shawl Features
I don’t know about y’all, but I live in Minnesota and it gets cold in early fall, then it gets really cold in winter, and then it stays cold well into spring! So cozy accessories are a literal necessity, and the Gaia Pocket Shawl is so very cozy, and makes a beautiful accessory too! This shawl will take you some time to make, as any shawl will, but the repeats are easy enough to remember that you can binge watch your favorite show or movie series and crank this one out!! Honestly, that is my fave way to make a crochet project!
The Gaia Pocket Shawl works up beautifully with Red Heart Super Saver Stripes Ombre! It takes about 1350 yards for the Adult Shawl, and about 1000 yards for the kids size! The original inspiration for this pattern was the stitch from my Sweet Stripes Pattern Collection, but the Gaia stitch pattern has more to it and is really beautiful and elegant! Because it uses a few more advanced stitches, I have rated the pattern intermediate, but I think an advanced beginner to definitely be successful with the pattern too, and learn a new stitch or 2 in the process! Win-win! 🧶
Gorgeous Shawl in 2 sizes!
The Gaia Pocket Shawl Pattern has instructions to make a Child and Adult sized shawl! If you have someone in your life that loves to be cozy then this is the perfect gift to make for them! I can promise it will be worn and loved All. Winter. Long! ❄️
This Shawl is the perfect thank you gift for someone very special like a dedicated Teacher or your Grandma – you know Grandma just loves a handmade gift! Don’t forget to make one for yourself too!
The Gaia Pocket Shawl is sure to be a hit at your fall markets and craft shows! This beauty is the perfect eye catching item to display to draw in a crowd! They make a fabulous Chrismas or Hannukah gift too, so they are perfect to sell in your Etsy shop!! I would love to hear which color you want to make your first Shawl in!!
Make a Gaia Pocket Shawl!
This shawl pattern is perfect for intermediate level crocheters and the confident advanced beginner who likes a challenge. There are a few advance stitches including treble crochet, v-stitches, and post stitches. This is a really fun project and a very rewarding project – I really enjoyed crocheting this one y’all! Perfect for gifts, craft markets, and more! All you need to get started is 2-3 jumbo skeins of ww yarn and a J/10 6.0 mm hook! These are the yarns that I used to create my samples – anemone is my new FAVE!! 😍
