Crochet Hanging Basket Pattern!
Y’all know by now that I’m obsessed with bags, but baskets are a really close second! This is the sixth crochet basket pattern I’ve designed and I’m not stopping any time soon! What is your fave thing to store in your crocheted baskets? Mine is yarn of course – and I especially like to use my baskets as WIP/project bags! Pretty much all of my baskets are currently filled with yarn and/or WIPs so I’m happy, they’re happy, everyone’s happy.
Do you love baskets too? Then when you’re done you will want to check out my other basket patterns! My newest basket pattern, the Hopscotch Easter Baskets are a fun addition to your Easter Egg Hunts, but also make an amazing May Day Basket or Gift Basket too! If you love hanging baskets, then my Farmhouse Hanging Basket will be right up your alley. Looking for a fun way to use up your scrap yarn? Check out my Pop of Color Basket Pattern! If you love buffalo plaid or gingham as much as I do, then you will love my Buffalo Plaid Basket Pattern! My Hometown Holiday Baskets are perfect for decorating (or gifting) all winter long – choose a snowflake or pine tree pattern! Last but not least is the basket that will hold all your fabulous Farmers Market Veggies – whether they’re real or crocheted! I’m sensing a pattern here (pun intended! 😝) So if you are as obsessed with baskets as much as I am, make sure to check those other patterns out too!
One of my favorite things about the Sweet Stripes Hanging Baskets is they are really quick to make! You can make the small in an evening, and the Medium and Larger can be made over a couple of evenings, or in a nice long movie marathon crochet session! (Sign me up for that!!) The repeats and stitches are simple and easy to memorize so this free large crochet hanging basket pattern will be done before you know it! With 3 weeks to complete your CAL you will have no trouble crocheting a basket or a whole set of baskets to decorate your home or for your next craft show!
What is your favorite way to relax and crochet? I love to listen to an audiobook while I crochet, or watch the latest movie on Amazon Prime! During the summer I often find myself crocheting outside while the kids swim and play. I think one of my favorite things about crocheting is that your can pick up your project and take it anywhere with you!!
Need some help with the stitches? I provide photo tutorials within the pattern to help you with the included techniques and more! I am always happy to help you with any questions you may have! Don’t crochet yet? I’d love to help you Learn to Crochet with my fun Crochet Tutorials!
