Crochet Patterns for Summer

Finally! Yay! School is nearly out and I’m feeling all the Summer vibes. Everything is so bright and happy and positive right now – I hope you’re feeling this way too.

Here we are halfway through the year. Can you believe it? I’ve been losing the clothing layers over the last couple of weeks and am even bringing out the house plants now that it’s warmer, so that they can enjoy the sun out of the reach of my cats. My Sweet Stripes plant hanger pattern and Sweet Stripes Hanging Baskets Pattern have come in very handy for this! I have crafted plenty of them (in bright colored yarns of course) and am able to hang my plants all around outdoors, which keeps the yard from looking cluttered. It’s super pretty instead and I’m loving getting outside, while keeping an eye on the two youngest kids.

In the Summer months, I feel like there’s a change to lighter weight yarns and colors like pinks and pastels, because finally scarves and beanies are being shelved for a few months. Of course I’ve compiled a fun list of crochet pattern ideas for you, because even when you’re at a Summer BBQ, you’re hands need something to do! There’s things for the kids to wear and play with, plus some other awesomeness too.

Are you a member of my 👉  facebook group, which has over 1.4k fabulous crochteters hanging out and chatting about yarn and crochet daily? If not yet, jump over now for VIP access to free patterns and discounts, but it’s mostly about being part of a like-minded community, where you can ask questions and share your project photos. I’d love to see what you make from this round up! Happy Hooking my friends! 💜

Sweet Stripes Freeze Pop Holders

Freeze pops, kids and Summer all go hand in hand, don’t they? I did mention we’re obsessed with them around here right? So yes, I have designed 2 different holders for ice pops, but they’re rather different! This one was targeted at my older daughters as they started to move out of being interested in animal, so I wanted a set that would be a little more sophisticated, to grow with them… So if you’re kiddos are big or small you can say goodbye to your kids using paper towels to hold ice pops and then finding them all over your yard! Because they’re washable and re-usable, they’re much better for your wallet and the environment too.
