Crochet Patterns for Summer
Finally! Yay! School is nearly out and I’m feeling all the Summer vibes. Everything is so bright and happy and positive right now – I hope you’re feeling this way too.
Here we are halfway through the year. Can you believe it? I’ve been losing the clothing layers over the last couple of weeks and am even bringing out the house plants now that it’s warmer, so that they can enjoy the sun out of the reach of my cats. My Sweet Stripes plant hanger pattern and Sweet Stripes Hanging Baskets Pattern have come in very handy for this! I have crafted plenty of them (in bright colored yarns of course) and am able to hang my plants all around outdoors, which keeps the yard from looking cluttered. It’s super pretty instead and I’m loving getting outside, while keeping an eye on the two youngest kids.
In the Summer months, I feel like there’s a change to lighter weight yarns and colors like pinks and pastels, because finally scarves and beanies are being shelved for a few months. Of course I’ve compiled a fun list of crochet pattern ideas for you, because even when you’re at a Summer BBQ, you’re hands need something to do! There’s things for the kids to wear and play with, plus some other awesomeness too.
