Another year of Green Fox Farms Designs means it’s time to celebrate the 2026 Blogiversary with something a little more fun than just a post or a sale. I’m bringing back the crochet pattern scavenger hunt, and yes – it’s just as addictive as last year.
If you like free crochet patterns, little surprises, and poking around the blog finding things you didn’t know were here… y’all are going to enjoy this! 💜

What’s the GFFD Anniversary Pattern Scavenger Hunt?
This pattern scavenger hunt is a really fun way for you to explore the Green Fox Farms Designs Blog , plus win some great crochet prizes! This is a 5-day crochet pattern scavenger hunt running between May 18 through May 23, 2026. You’ll be on the lookout for a specific image hidden in 4 different posts each day.
Each day by 3 pm CDT, I’ll post a new Image on the main event page, with 4 links.
Each link will take you to a page with that day’s image, but here’s the catch.
Only ONE of the images will lead you to the entry form for that day. So you’ll need to click around for a bit, as you’re hunting for that one!
Let’s Make it Easy! What do you need to do?
- Find the featured photo on each of the 4 linked posts for that day.
- Click on the image – only ONE will lead you to a form – follow the one that takes you to the entry form, if nothing happens when you click – keep searching!
- Once you fill out the form and click submit, you’re entered into the giveaway for that day!
You have 23 hours – until 2 pm CST the following day to hunt for the image and fill out the form. Once you’ve entered for the day, I hope you’ll feel inspired to take a moment to enjoy the fun crochet content on my blog! Maybe you’d like to learn a new stitch or try a fun free pattern, or check out a roundup and find something fun to make!

How to Participate in the May 2026 Crochet Scavenger Hunt!
Here’s how you can join in the Blog anniversary fun:
1. Check Daily: Starting Monday, May 18, visit this post each day (after 3 pm CDT) to find the scavenger hunt instructions. Including the image you’re looking for! Bookmark the post for easy access!
2. Spot the Image: Search for the designated birthday image in 4 different blog posts each day. REMEMBER: Only ONE image will link to a form!!
3. Submit the Form: Fill out the form and submit once you find the image with the LINK each day.
4. Daily Winners: Every day, everyone who finds the featured image will receive a fun little prize! PLUS one participant will win the daily prize of 4 crochet patterns of your choice, each day!
5. Grand Prize Drawing: Will be drawn on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from those who submitted entries all week. The more days you enter, the more chances you have to win! (Please Note: Grand Prize is only available to residents of US and Canada.)
That’s it! It’s fun, simple, and you’ll get to explore plenty of crochet inspiration along the way.
How do you win?
At the start of each new day, just before I post the next photo and links, I’ll randomly choose a winner from the previous day’s entries and announce their name on this event post.
Since I’m in the Central time zone USA, you may not see the winner’s name right at 3 pm your time, depending on where you’re located. But don’t worry! If you’re the winner, you’ll receive an email from me with all the details on how to claim your prize.

Why I Love Hosting This Pattern Scavenger Hunt
Honestly? Because it’s fun. 🥳🙌
But also because a lot of you don’t always see everything that’s on the blog.
There are hundreds of free crochet patterns, tutorials, and roundups here now, and this is an easy way to stumble across something new.
Maybe it’s a pattern you skipped before.
Maybe it’s something you didn’t even know you needed!
Either way, it turns into a bit of a rabbit hole (in a good way).

Begins: Monday, May 18, 2026 at 3 pm CDT
Ends: Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2 pm CDT
Daily Prize: open internationally
Grand Prize: open to residents of US and Canada only
Winners will be chosen at random, to make sure it’s fair for all who participate.
Only correct entries will go into each draw.
