Hopscotch Fingerless Gloves
New Crochet Pattern!
If I had to pick a favorite cold weather accessory, I would choose Fingerless Gloves, hands down! (🤣 pun intended!) They are the first thing I reach for when the weather turns colder (like it’s already started doing in my neck of the woods!) and the last thing I put away in the spring. 🧤 Wrist warmers are the perfect transitional piece for autumn and spring, don’t you agree? My testers really enjoyed how the hopscotch stitch pattern worked out for these gloves, and I am sure you’ll agree it makes for a fantastic textured and cozy pair of fingerless mittens. Plus, with 4 sizes you can make a pair for everyone in your family.I know y’all love this new pattern as much as I do! 🙂

Wrist Warmers Crochet Patterns
When it comes to fingerless gloves, I’ve found that I have a certain style that I really like best for the fit and length. It’s fun to look at all the different styles of fingerless gloves I have designed because even though they all look different in style, the fit is the same for all of them! I like my wrist warmers long enough to tuck in to my coat sleeves, and I like them to cover my palm and I like them fitted, but not tight. If you live somewhere cold like I do here in MN, the you’re going to love this fit too! I just love that with fingerless mittens you can keep your hands warm (like on the icy steering wheel on your way to work or dropping kids off at school!) and still be able to drink coffee and text or drive safely because you’re not wearing bulky mittens! 🧤
I suppose that’s why I’ve designed so many pairs of them! 😆 If you love fingerless gloves too, then you are going to enjoy checking out all of these other designs as well! The original pair of mittens is my fabulous Sweet Stripes Fingerless Gloves! Using your fave stitch, and mine, you can make a pair of quick and easy fingerless mittens to wear or a whole stack for your craft markets! The Infinite Spring Gloves are an elegant pair of wrist warmers. They have a beautiful stitch pattern on the cuffs, and include several appliqués to make them even more fun and customizable. And if you love a classic look, then the Polka Dot Mittens are sure to catch your eye! These cute gloves are a beginner friendly intro to colorwork, because they only use one color for each round! Which pair would you like to make first?

Lacy Fingerless Gloves
The Hopscotch Fingerless Gloves… or Fingerless Mittens, Wrist Warmers, Arm Warmers, Hand Warmers, Texting Gloves 😜 whatever you like to call them, are basically a necessity in our on the go culture! Not only do they make it easier and safer to drive when it’s cold out, but you can also use your phone, pay at the drive through, hand your kid a sippy cup, or cheer your fave sports team on more easily with your hands covered and fingers free. However you use them, these gloves are a lifesaver! 🧤
These wrist warmers come with 4 size options (Toddler, Child, and Small and Large Adult), so you can make them for the whole family and anyone on your gifting list this holiday season. I love designing gloves that my husband and teenage son will actually wear – it’s not easy to find mens fingerless gloves crochet patterns that men actually like! Plus I will teach you how to make a chainless foundation single crochet to make the gloves stretch and fit better too. The pattern includes a photo and written instructions, plus a link to my youtube tutorial video if that’s easier for you.
You probably know by now that I love to give my patterns a Netflix and Crochet rating, and that I like to make patterns that are perfect for crocheting while you binge watch! This pattern is perfect for a little Netflix action – the rounds are simple once you have the stitches down (full photo tutorials are included for extended single crochet and crossed double crochet stitches!) then you only need to pay attention to your increase rounds for the thumbhole. These fingerless gloves work up quickly too, so you’ll be making pairs for everyone in no time! I am currently watching Outlander (again) and listening to The Lady of the Lake – The Witcher Book #7 on Audible and I highly recommend the series! I am a little sad there is only 1 more book left, but I can always listen again. Or find something else from my Goodreads wishlist! How about you? 💜

How to Crochet Arm Warmers
This lacy arm warmers crochet pattern is perfect for an intermediate crocheter or a confident advanced beginner who is ready to tackle easy shaping, extended single crochet, and crossed double crochet stitch! I have included full written and photo tutorials for the 3 advanced stitches, and my testers tell me these stitches are easy to learn and master with my tutorials. You will be able to confidently say you KNOW how to crochet arm warmers once you’ve completed the pattern!
Here’s what you need to get started: 80 – 180 yards of Red Heart Super Saver Ombrés or your choice of Worsted/Aran weight 4 yarn. You will also need a G/6 4.0/4.25 mm crochet hook. ← I highly recommend this gorgeous beauty! My 100% go to hooks are Furls Streamline Resin Hooks, I loved using mine to create these cozy fingerless mittens!
Below are the yarns I used to create my samples! For this project I used Deep Teal for my Large Adult / Mens Fingerless Gloves, Violet for my Small Adult / Womens Fingerless Gloves, True Blue for my Childrens Fingerless Gloves, and Jazzy for my Toddler Fingerless Gloves. 😍 I think you will have a LOT of fun choosing your colors for this project.
