Crochet Christmas Ornament
I bought a bunch of plastic ornaments on clearance last year because I knew I wanted to create an ornament pattern for this year. Plus I figured they’d be great for kids crafts too! My 9 year old daughter always wants to make something special for her family for Christmas and I have plenty left so she can make some too! 😅 So with my expanding collection of Sweet Stripes Patterns this year, the ornament was pretty obvious! This marks the 15th Sweet Stripes Pattern, which is pretty exciting! For those who are anxiously waiting, my Sweet Stripes Stocking Pattern will be launching in the next few days! So make sure you’re on my VIP List if you don’t want to miss that one!
This pattern works up quickly, and with simple stitches it is definitley an easy pattern! The trickiest part is working the last row of decreases with the plastic ornament inside, but you’ve got this! 💪

Make a Crocheted Christmas Ornament!
This easy Crochet Christmas Bauble pattern is perfect an advanced beginner crocheter who has mastered the basic stitches. The stitches in the pattern are simple, though the pattern does involve increases and decreases with the final round being worked with the plastic ornament inside your crochet work. The confident beginner can tackle this easy pattern for a Christmas Ball Cover!
This pattern is the perfect make for gifts, craft markets, and more! All you need to get started is some 67mm plastic ornaments, 25-40 yards of worsted weight yarn (I love using Red Heart Super Saver Ombres and Multis!) and a H/8 5.0 mm hook! <– I’m OBSESSED with my Furls Odessy Hooks!! Have you tried a Furls hook yet? They are a dream to work with, smooth and just lightly weighted! ❤️ These yarns below are the exact ones I used to create my samples – and I LOVE these colors!! 😍
