Festive Tapestry Crochet Square Pattern!
Have you ever tried a tapestry crochet colorwork project before? If not, then I think you will find that a pillow square is the perfect project to learn on, or to practice your skills for those who have! A cushion square is large enough to give you some experience, but a small enough project to be super manageable, and even to take with you on the go with only 3 colors!
If you are new to the tapestry crochet method and want to practice first, then I recommend starting with my Unicorn Coffee Cozy, which uses only 2 colors and is worked in the round which is an easier way to manage your colors. This way you can practice the tapestry crochet technique without having to make multiple color changes per row, like you will with some of the rows in this festive snowflake square.
If you have made a few tapestry projects or other colorwork and are up for the challenge, or if you’ve got more than a few projects under your belt, then the Festive Snowflake Pillow Square and Cozy Christmas Cushion Crochet Along is perfect for you! You can create all the cushion squares in the Cozy Christmas Cushion CAL to create a pillow, wall hanging, tote bag or use each individual square to use however you like – coasters, gift tags, and more. It’s totally up to you, after all this is your project you amazing hooker! 😘 💜
Need some help with the stitches? U provide photo and (some) video tutorials within the pattern to help you with the included techniques and more! I am always happy to help you with any questions you may have. Don’t crochet yet? I would love to help you Learn to Crochet with my fun Crochet Tutorials, which are FREE right here on my blog!
