Sweet Stripes Stockings
New Crochet Pattern!
Nothing says Christmas like a handmade Christmas Stocking! So I am thrilled to round out my Sweet Stripes Collection with the fabulous new Sweet Stripes Stocking Crochet Pattern! With 3 sizes to choose from you will be able to make just the right stocking for everyone on your list! Who’s ready to add to their Holiday Home Decor collection with a set of Sweet Stripes Stockings, crocheted by you? I hope y’all love this new pattern as much as I do! 🙂
Crochet Christmas Stocking
I wanted to create a Christmas Stocking crochet pattern with no sewing required. So before I began designing this pattern I did some research and spent some time playing around with my yarn. I found only one way to sucessfully create the heel without sewing, and while it can be a little tricky, if you place your stitches carefully you end up with a perfect, no-sew stocking heel!
This pattern works up fairly quickly (espcecially the small stocking!), and the simple stitch repeats are easy, however due to the construction of multiple parts of a stocking (toe, heel, and leg) and the challenge of the heel construction, this is an intermediate crochet pattern. The trickiest part is the heel, but with my detailed written instructions and photo tutorials included, you’ve got this! 💪

Crochet Christmas Decorations
Whether you’re looking to take your handmade Christmas decorations to the next level, or wanting to create a special gift, the Sweet Stripes Stockings will be your go to pattern! This pattern has 3 sizes to choose from so you can create the ideal gift or decor in the size of your choice! The Small Crochet Stocking Pattern is great for hanging from door knobs, bed posts or wrapping up a gift card or other small gift! The Medium crochet Christmas Stocking Pattern is the size of your classic stocking, so it will be perfect hanging from your mantle or banister stuffed with goodies, or bedecking the walls! The Big Christmas Stocking Pattern is my take on the oversized stocking trend and will hold a whole lot of presents and trinkets to delight your favorite small person! 😉
Christmas Decorations and Stockings are classic wares for your Holiday markets and craft shows! The Small and Medium sized crochet Chrismas Stockings are sure to be some of your best sellers! Make sure to add a few to your Etsy shop too, since online sales are definitely huge this year!!
Make a Crochet Christmas Stocking!
This farmhouse Christmas Stocking crochet pattern is perfect for an intermediate level crocheter or a confident advanced beginner who is ready to tackle the challenge of shaping and short rows! The stitches in the pattern are simple, though the pattern does involve increases and decreases and the shaping of the heel.
This pattern is the perfect make for gifts, or to decorate for Christmas! All you need to get started is 100 – 300 yards of worsted weight yarn (I love using Red Heart Super Saver Ombres and Multis!) and a I/9 5.5 mm hook! <– I’m OBSESSED with my Furls Odessy Hooks!! Have you tried a Furls hook yet? They are a so amazing to crochet with!! ❤️ These yarns below are the exact ones I used to create my samples – and I LOVE these colors!! 😍
