I am so excited to introduce y’all to the premier patterns in my new Colorscape Collection! The Colorscape Cowl and Colorscape Beanie Patterns are available now!
The Colorscape Collection so far consists of two Intermediate level Crochet Patterns, appropriate for those comfortable with more complex stitches. The patterns utilize bobble stitches and post stitches, as well as a slip stitch brim on the beanie! These patterns were designed with from Red Heart, and work up beautifully in their colors! You could easily substitute a similar denser worsted weight yarn with very nice results too!

Cute Textured Cowl Pattern
Do you have a favorite type of scarf? Because the weather changes so much where I live in MN, I like to have a variety of options! As a crocheter, of course you get to make exactly what you want for any season! I like a cozy cowl or snuggly super scarf in winter, and I prefer a looser lacy or looped infinity scarf as a transitional piece in early fall and all through spring! How about you?
If you love accessorizing with scarves too, or live somewhere like me where they are a necessity, then you will definitely want to check out all of these other designs I have created too! 🧣 Best for beginners or those who want a simple and mindless project is my fabulous Sweet Stripes Circle Scarf! Using your fave stitch, and mine, you can make a cozy cowl or looser circle scarf and wear your Sweet Stripes in any type of weather! If you like the customization of a traditional scarf, the you will adore the Sweet Stripes Skinny Scarf! This pattern is as easy to make as the circle scarf, and lets you wear it in your fave way.
Looking for more of a challenge or just love texture? Then don’t miss the Infinite Spring Scarf, an elegant and looped infinity scarf. The beautiful stitch sampler style pattern looks amazing, and the pattern has lots of photo tutorials to help you with any tricky stitches.
If you love to make a fashion statement and don’t think that winter should change that, you just may fall for the Fly Away Super Scarf! This squishy soft oversized scarf is an undeniably warm fashion statement, that you can work up in your fave colors using colorblocked C2C technique. Speaking of statements, if you love a truly unique statement piece, then you might just need the Hopscotch Dragon Tail Scarf! This Keyhole scarf features the beautifully textured Hopscotch Stitch™ (which looks an awful lot like a scaly texture) and a dragon tail spike at the end of the tail, er scarf… for some fun flair! Which of these fab scarves would you like to make first?
These patterns were inspired by the gorgeous, self striping Colorscape from Red Heart yarns! If you have not yet had a chance to check out this beautiful yarn I highly recommend it! It is a 1 ply, worsted weight yarn, available in a nice range of variegate colors, several of which are nicely gender neutral. Go treat yourself! 🙂

The Colorscape Beanie is a cozy textured toque that will keep you cozy in the winter months. It’s a great accessory to where when you’re running errands, having a snow ball fight or getting outside to take a walk in the late winter/early spring when the world is starting to thaw, but it’s still pretty cold out there! This stunning beanie was designed using a self striping yarn, and looks beautiful in color or a stunning solid too. The pattern includes 6 sizes from Baby to Large adult so you can make one for the whole family!
The matching Colorscape Cowl is a versatile scarf with all the texture you could want to make a cute, statement piece. The pattern offers 2 lengths including a cozy neck warmer length and longer loose cowl option too! Plus this pattern comes with 3 size options (Toddler, Child, and Adult), so you can make one for everyone to keep cozy and look good doing it!
