It’s that time again. The yearly look back at the crochet patterns you loved most. This roundup has quietly become a tradition around here, and I still enjoy putting it together every single year! 🗓️

This list is pulled straight from the numbers. Page views, clicks, and reader activity from the past year all play a role. Green Fox Farms Designs patterns that kept showing up again and again naturally worked their way to the top.
Once everything was sorted, the favorites became clear. These designs earned their spot through steady love across the year, not a quick spike or trend moment.

This free amigurumi pattern is perfect for Christmas, but of course, if you’re a gnome lover? Then you’ll want them displayed all year round. It’s a super easy pattern, that’s really, really cute! 😍

9. Hopscotch Market Totes Free Crochet Pattern

8. Free Druid Linden Leaf Crochet Dice Bag Pattern
The Druid Leaf Dice Pouch has rolled in at number 8! Being a nature lover, I’m thrilled with how this drawstring bag turned out! It can be used for all sorts of things, not just dice. It’s a quick and easy crochet pattern that can be made with any weight yarn, for a smaller or larger version.

This fun and useful pattern brings us to number 7! It’s the Calliope Washcloth crochet pattern! I’ve designed so many more Calliope crochet patterns since this cloth, which has both a round and square version, so that you can choose your preference. I think they’re super pretty and would make a cool gift with a bar of soap or as part of a self-care gift basket.

6. Toadstool Tidings Free Ornament Pattern
And at number 6, we have the Toadstool Tidings Ornament – so we’re halfway through the list! This delightful cottagecore pattern is perfect for adding some woodland charm to your home year round! On the list at number 5 is yet another crochet beanie pattern! The Hopscotch Preemie Hat pattern was designed especially for the Preemie Crochet Challenge. We had our own NICU experience with our middle child, and I’m grateful to be able to give back through free patterns that others can use to make hats and bonding squares for preemies and their families.

And did you guess it? I think I had a pretty good idea… 😉 Fan Fave Pattern number 1 is Evan’s 8 Pocket Dice Bag! The original is still the most popular, on the blog, on etsy and on ravelry!
