Top 10 Patterns of 2025
It’s that time again. The yearly look back at the crochet patterns you loved most. This roundup has quietly become a tradition around here, and I still enjoy putting it together every single year! 🗓️
These are the patterns that stood out in 2025 based on real reader clicks. No guessing. No opinions pulled from thin air. Every design on this list is a free crochet pattern on the blog, with an optional ad-free PDF for those who prefer a quieter workspace (no ads!).
Looking at these results helps guide what I work on next. It keeps the focus on cozy makes, quick crochet patterns, and designs that actually fit into real life. Your support shapes more than you might realise, and I appreciate it more than I can say! 🤗
If you enjoy these kinds of roundups, this series goes back a few years now. Each list captures a little snapshot of what crocheters were looking for at the time, from easy patterns to practical scrapbuster projects.
Recommendation >> If you haven’t already, you might want to bookmark these pages!! There’s a round up of the Most Favorite, Top 10 crochet patterns for the previous 6 years: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 – and now 2025!! 😉🧶
How These Patterns Were Chosen
This list is pulled straight from the numbers. Page views, clicks, and reader activity from the past year all play a role. Green Fox Farms Designs patterns that kept showing up again and again naturally worked their way to the top.
Once everything was sorted, the favorites became clear. These designs earned their spot through steady love across the year, not a quick spike or trend moment.
Alongside the top crochet patterns, a few blog posts also stood out. Pattern roundups and helpful guides continue to be popular, especially during busy seasons like winter craft planning and Christmas patterns prep.
Some familiar names return this year too. A handful of past favorites are still going strong, proving that a solid free crochet pattern never really goes out of style.
