Hopscotch Infinity Scarf
New Crochet Pattern!
After fingerless gloves, a nice scarf is my next fave cold weather accessory. No better way to keep out the chill and they can double as a head covering too when needed! I will often wear a looser, lacy scarf well into the spring, but my gloves are long gone by now! As I write this there are still several feet of snow on the ground and its the second day of spring so you get where that scarf comes in handy! đ§ŁÂ My testers told me how much they loved the texture the hopscotch stitchâą gave their crochet cowls, and I am sure youâll agree. Iâve included 3 sizes so you can make a nice transitional scarf for your favorite people large and small. I know yâall are going to love this new pattern as much as I do!  đ

Crochet Infinity Cowl PatternÂ
When it comes to scarves, Iâve found that I like to have a variety of options, because the weather (and my outfit if weâre being honest đ) plays a big role in which one I’ll choose to wear. I like a cozy cowl or snuggly super scarf when winter is at its peak, and I prefer a looser lacy or looped infinity scarf as a transitional piece in early fall and all through spring! 𧣠If you live somewhere cold like I do here in MN, đ„¶Â then you probably have a whole collection of scarves just like I do! I love with the versatility of different styles of scarves, you can have your crochet accessories and still be comfortable in many seasons!Â
I suppose my fondness for scarves (and my frigid location) are why Iâve designed so many of them! đ If you love accessorizing with scarves too, then you are going to enjoy checking out all of these other designs I have created too! đ§ŁÂ The original scarf is of course my fabulous Sweet Stripes Circle Scarf! Using your fave stitch, and mine, you can make a cozy cowl or looser circle scarf and wear your Sweet Stripes in any type of weather! If you like the customization of a traditional scarf, the you will adore the Sweet Stripes Skinny Scarf! This pattern is as easy to make as the circle scarf, and lets you wear it in your fave way. The Infinite Spring Scarf is an elegant and detailed looped infinity scarf. The beautiful stitch pattern is really fun to make and the pattern has lots of photo tutorials to help you with any tricky stitches. If you love a cozy textured cowl, then my Colorscape Cowl (and matching hat) is sure to be just your style! You love the textured bobble stitches and bold ridges. Speaking of bold, if you love to make a fashion statement and donât think that winter should change that, you will fall for the Fly Away Super Scarf! This squishy soft oversized scarf is an undeniably warm fashion statement, that you can work up in your fave colors using colorblocked C2C technique. Which of these fab scarves would you like to make first?

Beautiful Crochet Cowl Pattern
The Hopscotch Infinity Scarf, Infinity Cowl, Looped Scarf, đ whatever you like to call them, are the perfect transitional accessory for spring! They are so nice to have when youâre running errands or trying to get some fresh air, and winter is still hanging about. I find that I often still wear a lightweight infinity scarf on the chilly mornings and evenings in late spring too. It doesnât hurt when youâve spent the time lovingly handcrafting an accessory for yourself that you want to get as much wear and use out of it as possible⊠amiright? đ§€
The Hopscotch Infinity Scarf comes with 3 size options (Toddler, Child, and Adult), so you can make one for the whole family, and they make awesome and unique gifts for Motherâs Day or end of the year teacher thank you gifts! Plus I will teach you how to make a chainless foundation single crochet to make the scarf stretch and hold itâs shape better too. The pattern includes a photo and written instructions, plus a link to my youtube tutorial video if thatâs easier for you.
You probably know by now that I love to give my patterns a Netflix and Crochet rating, and that I like to make patterns that are perfect for crocheting while you binge watch! This pattern is perfect for a little Netflix action – the rounds are simple once you have the stitches down (full photo tutorials are included for extended single crochet and crossed double crochet stitches!) and the beauty of an infinity scarf is that youâre making those stitches over and over so you can easily watch your show and relax with your project. This crochet cowl does work up quickly too, so youâll be wanting to make one for everyone you love! I am currently watching Wednesday and listening to The Once and Future Witches on Audible – so good! How about you? đ

My 100% go to hooks are Furls Streamline Resin Hooks, I loved using mine to create this textured Infinity Scarf crochet pattern!Â
Below are the yarns I used to create my samples! For this project I used RHSS in Anemone for my Adult Infinity Cowl, and Jazzy for my Toddler Infinity Scarf. đ I think you will have a LOT of fun choosing your colors for this project.
